Hi, I am Dr. Kaushi a fertility specialist and gynaecologist

I graduated from the University of Southampton, UK and have over ten years experience in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology.

I am a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) and primarily undertook my training at Royal Hospital for Women (RHW), Sydney and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), Perth.

I’ve spent an additional three years dedicated to sub-speciality training and working towards my certification as a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Subspecialist (CREI) – the highest qualification for fertility specialists in Australia and New Zealand.

No, you do not need a GP referral to see a specialist in Australia.

However, having a GP referral allows you to receive the Medicare rebate and allows your GP to send a referral letter with your full medical history detailed.

A GP referral to a specialist is valid for 12 months. Referrals from other specialist are valid for 3-months

Yes, Dr. Kaushi offers telehealth consults for patients who cannot make appointments physically.

When arranging an appointment, please indicate your preference for telehealth

Please bring the following with you on your first visit:

  • Your referral
  • Any relevant pathology tests or imaging results
  • Details of all medications you are currently taking, including over-the-counter medicines, nutritional supplements and herbal medicines
  • Your Medicare card
  • Your private health insurance card, if you have one.
